Volunteer
The Clinic is always in need of donations:
- Office supplies, especially copy paper, pens, paper clips, binder clips, envelopes
- Printer Toner (model Brother TN-450)
- Printers & Copy Machines
- Lunch and/or snack donations for our volunteers and clients
- Coffee and/or snacks for volunteers

The San Diego Clean Slate Clinic has volunteer opportunities at our Monthly Clinic as well as ongoing opportunities to assist with various administrative duties.
We are looking forlong-term volunteerswho are able to commit to volunteering at a minimum of 3-4 clinics per year. Because of the complicated nature of the post-conviction relief process and because of the many elements to consider when working with our participants, long-term repeat volunteers are critical to our success.
We are a volunteer-based operation and are unable to offer any paid positions at this time.
The Clean Slate Clinic is a wonderful opportunity for:
- Students looking to fulfill volunteer or internship requirements, especially those studying law, criminal justice, and/or social work
- Attorneys interested in gaining pro bono experience
- Community service providers and community members who want to learn more about the criminal justice system
- Churches and social groups
- Other organizations serving the reentry and/or low income populations
PLEASE NOTE: Important changes are coming to the Clinic in 2020! Due to a lack of resources to support our services, we will be implementing a reduction in services. Please check our website for updates regarding 2020 Clinic dates, hours and locations.
